GISonLine supported RWE Polska (now innogy) in the implementation of the power network inventory system. The scope of services included, among others, consultations on the methodology of implementation, inventory, and migration of network data.

Analysis of project documentation

As part of the work, GISonline consultants made a series of analyzes of project documentation including project schedule and many other products such as data migration strategy, a book of network inventory and data cleaning strategy for migration.

Development of a methodology for the process of preparing and exchanging data packages

At the client’s request, we have also developed a methodology for the process of preparing and exchanging packages of data for inventory between the network operator and the contractor for network inventory.

Development of the data quality control methodology of the network inventory process

One of the most important tasks carried out during the work was to develop a methodology for controlling the data quality of the network inventory process. The methodology defined in detail the scope of the control, the manner of its implementation, the line-up of the inspection team and the criteria for accepting the data from the network inventory.
